GREEN MONSTER

The St. Johns River needs your help!

Please, help St. Johns Riverkeeper spread the word about River Friendly Yards

and this important television program.

The Green Monster is Coming!

The Green Monster: It Came from the River!

Thursday, March 16th

8 PM

WTLV 12 - NBC

Hosted by former Jacksonville Jaguar Jeff Lageman

with special appearances by local community leaders.

This important television special will discuss the massive green algae bloom of last summer, how runoff from our yards contributed to the bloom, and how we, as homeowners, can adopt simple and easy “river friendly” lawn maintenance practices that will help reduce our impact on the health of the river.

This program and River Friendly Yards is brought to you by St. Johns Riverkeeper with the generous support of CSX, JB Foundation, Helen Lane, Late Bloomers Garden Circle, The Haskell Company, PRC Digital Media, The Florida-Times Union, and EverBank.
