The Jacksonville Landing Fourth of July Activities
JACKSONVILLE, Fla- July 2, 2012 - The Jacksonville Landing Festivities will feature family-friendly fun, live entertainment, an amazing fireworks show and much more on the St. Johns River!
The riverfront marketplace will open at 10:00 a.m. and musical entertainment will kick off at 5:00 p.m.
Entertainment schedule:
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Stevie Fingers
9:30 p.m. – 1: 30 a.m. 5 X 7 Band
9:45 p.m. City of Jacksonville's Fireworks on the St. Johns River
The City of Jacksonville's fireworks star-spangled show will be launched from barges on the St. Johns River near The Jacksonville Landing and the Hyatt Jacksonville Regency Riverfront.
Boaters can dock on the Northbank, Southbank and the Metropolitan Park Marina in areas not marked as closed for a maximum of 72 hours to view the fireworks. Docking will be on a first-come, first-served basis so boaters are encouraged to arrive early and show their patriotic spirit.
The Landing Restaurants and nightclubs will remain open until 2:00 a.m.
No outside food or beverages are permitted into The Landing.
All persons must be 21 years of age or older or present military I.D. Children are welcome with parent. Entrance and all events are free.

The Jacksonville Landing, located in the heart of downtown Jacksonville adjacent to the St. Johns River, is a multi-purpose facility providing year-round dining, shopping and entertainment. With more than 40 shops and restaurants, visitors are sure to find exactly what they are looking for, as well as enjoy the fabulous view of the river. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Restaurants and clubs stay open later.
